History of the Food Pantry at 801 N. Mesa

The Kelly Food Pantry, formerly know as the Bob Kelly Food Pantry, began in 2001 through a memorial gift from its namesake. We began by serving clients in the area immediately surrounding the church on the first and third Saturday of the month. Now our food pantry has grown and regularly serves clients in our neighborhood and others across the city. On March 2, 2009, and in association with the West Texas Food Bank, our food pantry began dispensing emergency boxes to all El Paso residents. One box is provided to residents outside the zip codes listed to the left and the recipients are given the location of food pantries in their area. It is always best to call these locations to make sure the pantry is open as stated.

The Kelly Food Pantry is operated by volunteers from Trinity-First and other churches in the area. It is located in the basement of the church and is completely underwritten by the congregation of Trinity-First United Methodist Church.
