Mizpah Class

The Mizpah Class was founded over 50 years ago by Henry Ford. Charter members were Ken & Evie Howard. All the members but one are long retired, mostly on the conservative side, very open and friendly

New Beginnings
Sunday School Class!!

We have members ranging in ages from 30-80 years old who participate in a variety of church-related activities and life experiences.

New Life Class

This class is “self-taught” by class members who volunteer to teach, but no one is obligated to teach.
The Class enjoys discussion-but is probably right of center on most issues, and somewhat traditional.

Quaestors Class

This class uses the “Adult Bible Studies” as a guide, along with the King James translation of the bible.

Wedding Band Class

This class follows the Adult Bible Studies literature, with some lecture and plenty of discussion.  Members are not shy about offering their opinions on most any subject.

Wesley-Tower Fellowship Class

Our study material is the Adult Bible Studies of the International Bible Series. These lessons are based on the Old and New Testament scriptures and they really make you think because they are so relevant to today’s problems and issues

Women's Book Group

Women who read and discuss fiction and non-fiction books on a variety of topics from a Christian perspective.

Invitation to Romans
Paul's teachings in Romans come to us mediated through the history of the church's interpretations of his letter. The challenge of reading Romans, then is to learn to have our own interpretive conversatoin with the text itself, in spite of centuries of commentary on the text.
Invitation to the Psalms
This is the newest of the DISCIPLE short–term studies as of spring 2008.
Invitation to the Old Testament
This study approaches the study of Hebrew Scriptures by inviting participants to hear the story of God and God's calling of the people of Israel through the many "voices" of the biblical text.
Invitation to the New Testament
Using Matthew's Gospel as a starting point, this study explores how the New Testament writers and the early Christian community wrestled with the comming of Jesus—his life, actions, mission, death and resurrection— and the implications of his arrival for their lives and their communities of faith.
Invitation to Genesis
"In the beginning..." These familiar words open the book of Genesis and give voice to one of the foundational stories of the entire Old Testament.

Marriage is one of the most important steps that two people can take. It is a sacred event signifying a covenant made between the bride and groom and God. We ask couples to take seriously the spiritual significance of being married in the church. It is a sacred occasion symbolizing the beauty, majesty and power of God. We pray that as you enter this covenant, you will keep God at the center of everything you do and continue your commitment to Christ and His Church by faithful and active service after you are married. Getting married in the church is not a fad. It signifies your willingness to live a Christian life and to be in covenant with the faith community. For more information go to the weddings page.
